As a busy full-time fashion editor and mother of two, what I’d really love for Mother’s Day is less time doing laundry and working on the computer, and more quality time with my kiddos. Oh, and a little more sleep and ME time wouldn’t go amiss either. Throw in free childcare while we’re at it. Not too much to ask is it?! 

Okay, so I can’t wish for miracles, but parenting really is a wonderful and crazy mixed bag of emotions— and by far one of the most magical, challenging, blissful, emotional, tender, exhausting, and joyous experience of my whole life—and I’m not going to lie, it sure is lovely to feel that little token of appreciation on Mother’s Day.
