Trend and travel have many points in prevalent, but my beloved is the shared obsession with newness. While I’ll often have a place in my heart for my 10-yr-outdated tote bag or the lodge I’ve visited many periods, what truly excites me is attempting new things. To that stop, I resolved to curate my favorite hotel openings of 2023, all of which are bound to spark instant wanderlust. 

At the major of my checklist is Christian Louboutin’s new hotel in Melides, Portugal, which is just as attractive as you’d expect from the legendary shoe designer. Other destinations include a freshly renovated Cannes assets, a beloved luxury hotel chain’s new France outpost, a slice of paradise in Chiang Mai, and more.
