When it will come to my wardrobe choices, my restricted-knit circle of fashion close friends is the first to listen to. Like all 20-somethings, we have a chaotic group chat utilised for weekly satisfied-hour arranging, venting about dating, and, obviously, thoughts on impulse shopping. This week’s subject matter of dialogue was spring wardrobe selects from Nordstrom. 

I constantly joke that staying Gen Z is my style North Star when it comes to picking my clothes, but it couldn’t be any more true. Now that the temperatures are mounting and I’ve already turned more than my overall wardrobe, my mates were my go-to sources of inspiration to talk me into (or out of!) purchases I knew were not heading to past far more than a thirty day period or two. If you can’t believe in your besties to talk you out of purchasing a questionable outfit, what can you trust them with?
