Ever since meeting Joyce Lee, head of womenswear design of Madewell this past winter, I made it a habit to check out the site’s warm offerings for the chilly months ahead. While I instantly fell in love with the brand’s elevated, sophisticated basics and contemporary styles, I never managed to buy more than my initial first impression haul.
